The book has been dedicated to the victims of the tragic Khojaly genocide killed by the Armenian armed forces in 1992. 

The book contains materials related to the official and state visits of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev between 1999 and 2003.

 “Azerbaijani States in History” books, which previously published in Azerbaijani, English, Armenian, Georgian, Ukrainian, and Moldavian languages with initiation of the President of ACSDA, MP Elkhan Suleymanov, were distributed among the participants of Euronest Parliament Assembly session held in Baku. In the book, besides the brief information about the historical Azerbaijani states, maps of those states also were inserted.  Regarding the great interest of readers toward the book, it has been published for the second time in Azerbaijani and English languages.

The Book is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Belgium.

The publication includes texts of speeches of the meetings of national leader Heydar Aliyev of Azerbaijani people and of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev with the state and governmental representatives of Belgium, during their visits to this country.

The Book "Azerbaijani States in History" published by Heydar Aliyev Heritage Research Center is just from print. It is in Azerbaijani, English, Armenian, Georgian, Moldovan and Ukrainian languages. It gives brief information on the states which existed in the historical Azerbaijani territories and also provides the maps of those states.
